THE CATALOGUES (including FREE Catalogue Software) For cataloguing my collection I now use a computer program called ‘mp3cat’. The great difficulty with cataloguing mp3’s is getting the Windows filename into a database of any kind (unless you’re happy to type them all in!) so I’ve also written 2 small programs that will acquire the mp3 filenames from any folder (and its subfolders) or DVD. All these programs are small and simple to use and you can get them free of charge: ‘Mp3cat’ can be downloaded HERE This version holds my catalogue. You can use it to find the music I have available for sale and to get an idea of how the program works. Unzip to a folder called ‘mp3cat’ on your c: drive and you’ll find a ‘Word’ document with a few basic instructions. If you then want to catalogue your own music please contact me Music at UKInfoweb
